American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver® First Aid Training Course
The AHA Heartsaver® First Aid Course is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking, or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.
This certification is NOT for Healthcare Providers. Healthcare Providers need the BLS Provider CPR AED certification course.
100% classroom training means students are with an AHA Instructor for their entire learning experience.
This course teaches skills with the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’ learning of skills.
Features
- Video-based course ensures consistency
- Instructor-led, hands-on class format reinforces skills proficiency
- Course is updated with the new science from the AHA Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care
