Course Summary

Built for healthcare and public safety professionals, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers is a professional-level CPR/AED program focused on developing the critical thinking, problem solving, and team dynamics skills that are critical to effective patient care. First Aid teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies. Students who successfully complete this course will receive certifications for Basic Life Suport for Healthcare Providers and First Aid that are valid for two years.
