American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver® Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) Course
The AHA Heartsaver® Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) Course is a classroom course that teaches employees how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials.
This course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction. The AHA Heartsaver® Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) certification course must be taken every year.
Textbook: You must have an AHA student manual for the class you are taking that is up-to-date with the current AHA guidelines being taught. Your BBP student workbook is included in this course. However, if chosen, the Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED student manual is not included in your registration fee. You may purchase additional student manuals from us at that time of your registration.
